Hwajin Cosmetics Biotechnology Research Center was established in 2014 under the belief that global competitiveness in the 21st century lies in the field of biotechnology (bio industry). It has been established with the support of national R&D project research from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Plant factory based on mechanism research (skin aging, gene screening, antioxidant, anticancer, etc.) such as plant stem cell tissue culture, microbial culture, fermentation process development, isolation and identification, and component analysis from natural products such as domestic and foreign rare extinct plants and medicinal plants We are applying a smart farm system through a globalization system.
In the future, we will leap forward as a leading company in the world's cutting-edge bio-industry by applying ICT technology, centering on bio-healthcare, from R&D to product production (bio, beauty, and medical devices).

It is the institute where researchers study and develop new raw materials derived from natural substance. It secured excellent research personnel and state-of-the-art research equipment, and divided it into bio-new material development team / tissue culture team / natural product analysis team / planning research team to actively develop new products in the beauty care industry.
